Serve

St. Paul’s has many ways in which you can serve in one of its missions. All you have to do is volunteer.  Call the church office (812-422-9009) and ask for the telephone number or the email address of the person responsible for the ministry in which you would like to become active.

Our ministries include:

  • Office (helping with newsletters, bulletins, mailings, letters)
  • Worship (choir, cancel bearer, prayers of the people leader, lay reader, acolyte, sound, altar guild, children’s church, nursery, ushering, greeting, sanctuary decorating, flower ministry, sanctuary cleaning day, and perhaps etc.)
  • Teach or Help with education (nursery, per-school, elementary, jr high, sr. high, adult, vacation Bible school, children’s church, youth program, youth pilgrimage trip, special congregational events)
  • Outreach Ministry (Adam’s Pantry, St. Paul’s Pantry, Fall Festival, Community Soup Kitchen, Outreach Committee)
  • Evangelism Ministry (Greeter, Host, Committee Member)
  • Pastoral Care Ministry (Lay Eucharistic Visitor, Caring Friends , Prayer Chain)
  • Communication Ministry (Website Photographer, Website Review Editor, Website Article Writer, Telephone ministry related to special needs)
  • Hospitality Ministry (Coffee Hour, Funeral Receptions, Special Receptions, Special Congregational Dinners)
